My days are wasted like the smoke My spirits flag like withering grass As on some lonely building's top My soul is like a wilderness, Dark dismal thoughts and boding fears My cup is mingled with my woes, Sense can afford no real joy My looks like wither'd leaves appear, But thou for ever art the same, Thou wilt arise and shew thy face, He hears his saints, he knows their cry, [The end] GO TO TOP OF SCREEN |
